The Luxury Mountain Biking Tour adventure commences with an exciting 30 km journey from Marrakech to Anamrou. After indulging in breakfast at the Luxury riads, participants will be picked up at 8:00 AM and driven to Khmissa. From this starting point, the cycling escapade will lead through Ouadar Imi and the serene village of Teurken, situated at an altitude of 1,850 meters, where lunch will be enjoyed. Continuing the journey, riders will traverse through the charming Berber village of Ait Aatman. Eventually, the day’s ride culminates at Anamrou, perched at an altitude of 1,800 meters. In the evening, dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay at the cosy gîtes d’étape.

Itinerary

Day 1MARRAKECH – ANAMROU

We will start our mountain biking journey from Marrakech to Anamrou, covering 30 km. After breakfast at the hotel, we will be picked up at 8:00 AM and driven to Khmissa. From there, we will begin cycling through Ouadar Imi and the village of Teurken (1,850 m) where we will have lunch. Continuing our journey, we will pass through the Berber village of Ait Aatman until we reach the community of Anamrou at an altitude of 1,800 meters. Dinner and overnight stay at the gîtes d’étape.

 

Day 2ANAMROU – AIT ZITEUNE

We will cover a 30 km mountain biking route after breakfast, Biking through the village of Anerni, crossing the Tizi N’fourna pass (2,200 m), and descending through villages until we reach Ait Ziteune (1,000 m). Lunch will be on the way. Dinner and an overnight stay at a family residence or a guesthouse.

 

Day 3AIT ZITEUNE – TASSA WIRGANE

Our mountain biking journey continues with a 45 km route after breakfast, passing through the Berber villages of Tograman, Tiferwin, Wizilen, and Agdour n’kik. We will have lunch in the village of Asni at a place called kik – Tizi Wado (1,700 m) and then proceed to the village of Tsaa Wirgane, where we will stay for the night at an altitude of 1,400 meters. Dinner and overnight stay at a family residence or lodgings.

 

Day 4TASSA WIRGANE – MZIK

After breakfast, we will cycle through the villages of Marigha, Tinzerte, and Tagadert Ait Ali for lunch. We will then ascend the Ait Mizan valley, pass through the village of Imlil (1,750 m), and continue toward Mazik until reaching an altitude of 1,800 m. Dinner and overnight stay in guest accommodations.

 

Day 5MZIK – IMSKER – TANSGHART

We will cover 32 km of mountain biking, passing through Imlil, Ait Suka, and Tamatert. We will reach the Tizi n’Tamatert pass at an elevation of 2,300 meters. Continuing our journey, we will pass through the Iminen valley and several Berber villages before reaching the village of Imsker. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at a family home or guesthouse in Tansghart at an altitude of 1,300 meters.

 

Day 6TANSGHART - OUKAIMEDEN - MARRAKECH

We will cover 30 km of mountain biking and have breakfast before starting our journey. Passing through Ifran, we will then continue to climb in a zigzag fashion until we reach Oukaimden Pass (1,700 m), where we will stop for lunch. Dinner and overnight shelter will be in Oukaimden.

 

Day 7Ourika valley - Marrakech

 We will follow a winding path down to the Ourika Valley for lunch and then travel by car to Marrakech in the afternoon.
